Artdom

About the founder?

Arghavan Agida is the founder of Artdom, and was previously a Goodwill Ambassador for the UN Women National Committee in Sweden (2014–2019).
Over the past 13 years, her work has focused on using creative expression to highlight women's stories and promote freedom, feminism, and equality on a global level.

Since its inception, Artdom has connected 50 female artists from six countries, inspiring thousands through collaborative art exhibitions that challenge boundaries and societal constraints. The initiative connects artists from different countries, encouraging them to co-create on a shared canvas around a unifying theme.
The finished works promote dialogue and understanding across cultures.

This year, the focus is on artists from the United States and Cuba, who are collaborating under the theme "Hope".

In the past, Artdom has received significant support from cultural leaders. For example, the exhibition in Oslo was opened by Norway's former Minister of Culture Abid Q. Raja, and the event in Stockholm was hosted by Amanda Lind, then Minister of Culture in Sweden.

These events emphasized the importance of the work and the power of art to illuminate critical themes such as feminism and gender equality.
